Major Futures (MF) Member Terms + Code of Conduct
Effective Date of Signup
By joining Major Futures (“MF”) you agree to these Member Terms and the Code of Conduct below. If you do not agree, do not join or participate.
Part A: Member Terms
1) Who We Are
“Major Futures” or “MF” refers to the Major Futures community and related programming operated by MF (the “Program”). These Terms govern your membership and participation in MF spaces, events, programming, communications, and any associated platforms (the “Services”).
2) Eligibility + Account Rules
By joining, you represent that:
You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).
You have the authority to agree to these Terms personally (and not on behalf of someone else, unless you clearly have that authority).
The information you provide is accurate and kept current.
Account rules:
Your membership is personal and non-transferable.
One person per account. No sharing login credentials or access.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3) Founding Member Status (Pilot Cohort)
MF is offering a “Founding Member” membership to an initial pilot cohort.
Founding Member membership is $0.
Founding Member benefits, access, programming, and features may evolve as MF learns and improves.
MF may introduce additional membership tiers, paid plans, and different benefit packages in the future.
Founding Member status does not guarantee lifetime free access or any specific future pricing/benefits unless explicitly stated in writing by MF.
4) What You Get (and What You Don’t)
MF provides access to a professional growth community, which may include:
Community discussions, prompts, and peer interaction
Live or recorded sessions, gatherings, office hours, and/or events
Resources such as frameworks, templates, guides, or recommended tools
MF does not provide:
Employment, job placement, recruiting, or representation services
Legal, tax, medical, mental health, or financial advice
Guaranteed outcomes of any kind (including business results, earnings, career outcomes, or growth)
You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results.
5) Community Standards Are Part of the Deal
The Code of Conduct is incorporated into these Terms. Violations of the Code of Conduct are violations of these Terms and can result in suspension or termination of your membership.
6) Intellectual Property + Permitted Use
MF Materials
MF may provide materials including but not limited to: session content, templates, guides, worksheets, frameworks, recordings, prompts, and brand materials (“MF Materials”).
Unless MF explicitly states otherwise:
MF Materials are for your personal use only.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly post, or create derivative works from MF Materials.
You may not share MF Materials outside MF spaces (including forwarding emails, posting screenshots, or uploading files) without written permission from MF.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create and share inside MF (“Member Content”). By posting or submitting Member Content, you grant MF a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and share that content within MF spaces as needed to operate the Services.
Optional visibility: MF may reference anonymized, aggregated themes or learnings from MF to improve the program and explain the community’s value. MF will not attribute your name, company, or identifying details without your permission.
7) Confidentiality + Chatham House Standard
MF is built for candid professional conversation. By joining, you agree to a confidentiality standard:
Do not share, quote, screenshot, record, or attribute MF conversations, posts, direct messages, attendee lists, or member identities outside MF without explicit permission from the relevant member(s) and MF where applicable.
Do not record any MF session (audio, video, screen capture) unless MF explicitly states recording is allowed.
If MF provides recordings, they are for internal member access only and may not be reposted or redistributed.
MF cannot guarantee that every member will comply perfectly. However, MF will enforce these standards when violations are reported or discovered.
8) Platform Rules + Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Interfere with the operation of MF platforms (including attempting to bypass access controls)
Scrape, harvest, or collect member data (names, emails, posts, content) for any purpose
Upload malware, spam, or malicious code
Use MF spaces in a way that disrupts the experience for others
MF may remove content that violates these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
9) Communications
By joining, you consent to receive communications necessary to operate MF, such as:
Access instructions and account notices
Program updates, schedule changes, and event information
Safety and conduct-related notices
Marketing communications (if any) will follow applicable law and provide a reasonable way to opt out.
10) Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination
MF may take action to protect the community, including:
Removing content
Issuing a warning
Temporarily restricting features or access
Suspending membership
Terminating membership immediately for serious violations
MF may terminate or suspend your membership at any time if you violate these Terms or the Code of Conduct, or if MF reasonably believes your participation creates risk or harm to the community.
Because Founding Member membership is $0, there are no refunds, and you agree you are not entitled to compensation if MF modifies benefits, pauses features, or changes the program during the pilot.
11) Disclaimers
MF provides the Services “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law:
MF disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
MF does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free services, or specific outcomes.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
MF is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
MF’s total liability arising out of or related to MF is limited to the amount you paid to MF in the prior 12 months. For Founding Members, that amount is $0.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you in full.
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold MF harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
Your violation of these Terms or the Code of Conduct
Your misuse of MF platforms or Services
Your Member Content or actions toward other members
14) Dispute Resolution + Governing Law
Informal resolution first: before filing a claim, you agree to contact MF to try to resolve the dispute informally.
Governing law and venue: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York (without regard to conflict-of-law principles). Any dispute will be brought in state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless MF specifies a different method (such as arbitration) in a future update.
15) Changes to These Terms
MF may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, MF will make reasonable efforts to notify members. Continued participation after updates become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
16) Contact

Reporting conduct concerns: [insert conduct email]
Part B: Code of Conduct
MF is a professional space for leaders. The goal is candid conversation, serious growth, and high trust.
1) The Standard
Be respectful, constructive, and professional. You don’t need to be formal. You do need to be decent.
MF expects members to:
Engage with curiosity and good faith
Disagree without being disagreeable
Protect the trust of other members
2) Respect + Safety (Zero Tolerance)
MF has zero tolerance for:
Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or derogatory attacks
Threats, intimidation, stalking, or bullying
Unwanted sexual attention or sexual harassment
Doxxing or sharing private/confidential information
Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith
3) Confidentiality in Practice
This is a “what’s said here stays here” community.
You may not:
Screenshot, forward, repost, or publicly quote MF posts, threads, DMs, or event conversations
Share member identities, attendee lists, or personal/company details learned in MF
Record any MF session (audio/video/screen) unless MF explicitly allows it
If you want to share something you learned, do it in a non-attributed way—or ask the people involved for explicit permission.
4) No Sales. No Pitching. No Soliciting. Anywhere.
MF is not a marketplace. It is not a lead-gen engine. It is not a place to “just quickly share something you’re offering.”
Accordingly:
No selling or pitching of any kind in MF spaces (posts, comments, events, chats, DMs).
No “soft” pitching (e.g., “If anyone needs help with X, DM me”).
No links to your services, calendars, decks, or “free consultations.”
No affiliate or referral links.
No recruiting, poaching, or vendor prospecting.
No mass DMing members for any reason that resembles business development.
The exception:
MF may host explicit, opt-in networking events or “speed selling” sessions where pitching is permitted. When MF hosts those events, MF will clearly label them, and the rules for that space will apply only within that event context.
If you’re unsure whether something is a pitch, it’s a pitch. Don’t do it.
5) Authenticity + Integrity
Be honest about who you are and what you do.
Don’t impersonate others or misrepresent credentials.
Don’t manipulate conversations to manufacture authority or influence.
6) Content + Participation Rules
You may not post or share:
Illegal content or instructions for wrongdoing
Content that violates others’ intellectual property rights
Malware, spam, or anything that disrupts the community
MF may remove content at its discretion to protect the community.
7) Event Conduct (Virtual and In-Person)
MF events are extensions of the community:
Show up respectful and prepared.
Follow host guidance and time boundaries.
Do not disrupt. Do not dominate. Do not derail.
If alcohol is present, keep it civilized. If you can’t keep it civilized, don’t attend.
8) Reporting Concerns
If something feels off, report it. MF would rather hear early than clean up later.
Report to: [insert conduct email]
Include: what happened, where it happened (link/screenshot if appropriate), who was involved, and any context.
9) Enforcement
MF may enforce these rules through:
A warning or coaching note
Content removal
Temporary restrictions or suspension
Termination of membership
Immediate removal may occur for serious violations (harassment, threats, doxxing, repeated solicitation, or behavior that creates safety risk).
10) Acknowledgment
By participating in MF, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct and understand that MF may enforce it to protect the community.
