With expertise in brand strategy, placemaking, cultural programming, and business development, he is known for translating complexity into clear frameworks and turning insights into action. Most recently, as Director of Strategy & Business Development at DVDL, a cultural planning firm, he led work for institutions including the Martell Foundation in Cognac, France; The College of Physicians of Philadelphia; the Mütter Museum; Canada’s National Ballet School; and the Forman Arts Initiative. He has also previously led internal strategy at renowned design firm Frederick Fisher & Partners, and project work for the Sundance Institute and Major League Soccer, among others.
The son of Egyptian and Guatemalan immigrants, Alexander grew up in Los Angeles navigating cultural intersections and learning to bridge perspectives. Equally at home in a museum gallery or a stadium crowd, he credits LA’s constellation of art, architecture, sport, food, and entertainment with shaping his lifelong curiosity across disciplines and communities.
